Ways to Join a Circle of Light—or Create Your Own

We are living through extremely challenging times, and many of us have legitimate worries about the future of our world. Circles of Light can help us focus our concerns in a way that benefit us individually and collectively. By joining together as energetic activists—collectively holding a vision of health, harmony, justice, kindness and peace—we can shift from anxiety and separation into a state of equanimity, optimism and connection while we help actualize the world we want to live in.

The Circle of Light has already been set into motion and continues to magnify as more people join in. You can become part of the Circle of Light in many different ways:

Join an existing Circle of Light

Join Quest for Eternal Sunshine’s live Circle of Light every Tuesday at 5:20 PM Pacific time, from October 13 through November 3.  Sign up here.

Sally Kempton’s Circle, where everyone does Sally’s guided meditation simultaneously but separately, happens every Tuesday at 5:00 PM Pacific time, from October 13 through November 3.  More information here.

Individual meditation/prayer/visualization

Our Circle of Light webpage has an assortment of powerful and enjoyable guided visualizations created by our contributors that you can use any time to help you establish a connection to the Circle of Light, but you can also create your own visualizations and meditations, being spontaneous and honoring whatever comes naturally to you. It is important to remember that you are joining with many others in holding positive visions for the world, and that together we are making an impact.

Create a group—large or small—and gather together in person or virtually

Establish a regular time, daily or weekly, to gather with friends, family, roommates or colleagues in person or through a virtual conference call. You can use one of our recordings, someone can lead the group using their own ideas, or you can meditate/pray/visualize together in silence.

Tips for starting your own circle:

  • Establish a time for your first meeting. If you’re meeting with people virtually, across time zones, be sure to include the time zone from which the Circle is being initiated.

  • Create a clear email that includes the important details about joining your Circle.

  • Contact friends, family members, roommates or colleagues, explain the concept of a Circle of Light and invite them to participate.

  • Create a simple mailing list of participants.

  • Send out confirmation emails with the link and a reminder an hour before your first Circle is to begin.

  • When the circle begins, welcome everyone, thank them for participating in your circle, and remind them that they are joining many other people all over the country that have shared dreams for a kinder and healthier world.

  • You can play the recordings we created for you, or lead the meditation/visualization yourself—or a combination of the two.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Circle of Light and helping to manifest a healthier and kinder world!
